Hello and welcome to Beautiful Beginnings. I’m Maggie Burns and I have been teaching classes since 2005 and adore working with new babies and their mums. This early stage with new babies is so precious and fleeting (though I know it doesn’t always feel that way!) Baby massage can really help you to enjoy your baby more fully at the stage you are at now and truly connect with this new person. Baby yoga equally helps you to make the most of your time with your more active and alert child.
Mission Statement
“It is my sincere hope that through my classes I will provide a beautiful space for mothers to come together, relax, enjoy their babies and connect with other mothers in a meaningful way. I hope to support the bonding process of each mother and baby I work with and encourage mutual feelings of joy and contentment.”
If you would like to make more of your time with your new baby, then taking a baby massage or baby yoga class can be a wonderful starting place.
As a mother of two young children myself, I have first hand experience of the highs and lows of early parenting, and it means a lot to me to be able to support and nurture others with babies and young children. That is why I have developed my classes to be a balance of baby massage / yoga and relaxation with an equal length of time given to the important business of coffee and chat!
I am a Certified Infant Massage Instructor, accredited by the International Association of Infant Massage. I am also a member of Baby Massage Ireland, Birthlight and the Massage In Schools Association.
